I am the founder of Uzawi Initiative Ltd - a non-profit organization with a focus on AI, Society and Democracy. I hold a Bachelor of Laws degree (Uganda Christian University) and a Post Graduate Diploma in Law (Kenya School of Law). I am a certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/E) and an Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) with the International Association of Privacy Professionals. I have trained in Data Privacy and Technology (Harvard, Online), Data Science Principles (Harvard, Online), Law, Ethics and Policy of AI (KU Leuven AI Summer School), AI Enabled Digital Services (International Telecommunications Union) and Professional Mediation (MTI-EA). Previously, I worked as a Cofounder and Team Leader at a Data Protection Consultancy firm, a Data Protection officer and an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya. I am a member of the Law Society of Kenya, East Africa Law Society and the Data Privacy and Governance Society of Kenya.
